The reception staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be looking to return in the future. The breakfast was great and the staff could not have been more attentive. Our room was large and the two windows made it very bright, the beds were very comfy and the showers were great. We stayed for my partners birthday weekend and me and my partner loved our stay. Thank you Howfield

I've never bothered to leave a review of a property before but our two night stay at the manor was worth making the effort. The room we had, room 11, was on the corner with dual aspect over the gardens. The room was well presented with a couch, two chairs and a four poster bed, plus all the usual bits such as tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is smart and clean without loosing the character of a manor house. We enjoyed our stay, and having booked on a half price offer through laterooms, the value was amazing. We used the hotel as a base for touring Canterbury, Whitelsea, Hearne Bay, and all the way round the coast to Dover. Well recommended without a doubt.

Friendly helpful staff; nice setting, relaxing; lovely building and grounds; peaceful. We came having found a price offer while were travelling nearby, so the value for money was excellent.

I recently attended a course at your beautiful hotel and want to thank you and all your staff for the brilliant service they all provided. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. We were treated to 2 marvelous meals, aswell as drinks and snacks in between. There just aren't enough words to do this hotel justice, however I wont hesitate to recommend it to those organising courses and those who need somewhere to stay. All the staff were smart, helpful and very cheerful. I want to say an extra special thank you to Eva, who excelled to make sure we always has everything we needed. Once again a BIG thank you to all your fabulous staff at Howfield Manor, no doubt I'll be seeing you all soon!
